that ricochets off the tarnished edges
of a past
best forgotten
And honing our flow

Rarifying our metal
till it gleams golden

and more beautiful
than we had ever imagined……..

to the edge of your innermost dark place

and see the reflection

in the mirror of your deepest self

and just smile

in deepest knowing

that you are sharing this adventure with your biggest fan, your loudest supporter, your most dedicated observer, your favorite co-pilot, your kismet constant companion…….YOU

and before you come out

promise that beautiful shamanic, poetic, wistful, powerful, true you

that you won’t forget how perfect everything looks from the inside

How the concealed and encapsulated awesome creature

that begs to be revealed

is really really really real and 

and when you finally emerge from the cave
from your rest and healing
from your innermost wanting
and skillful collecting
you’ll have new superpowers
new words
new shape
and new form with which to play

Avatarism Presents: The Anger Issue

Whatever I hate with passion

Whenever I feel vengeful and unholy ardor 

When I have that certain kind of negative emotion

that bubbles 

that spikes

and sparks aggression

There must be something to learn there

My adrenaline

blocks the flow

The insanity of my indignation can be a monster

In the moment

I may attack with abandon

And in the process

Hurt myself Badly

After that

Needing hours, days, sometimes weeks of recovery

to arrive at center again

So…..

I have to ask myself

Is it worth it?

Am I justified in my reaction?

Or

Am I running a degenerate program of victim consciousness?

Am I stressed out?

Did I start a cycle of negativity somewhere else

and bring it here? 

How can I break the cycle?

And create anger intelligence.

I am in process

deep in the process

of transformation

and learning about myself.

I have to learn to put it down

Stop the action

invest in a period of rest

Mind rest and Meditation

A park

A parked car

A church

A bathroom

A chair

anywhere.

Part of the adventure of consciously creating my character

is developing a way to change the cycle of anger

to peacefulness and mindfulness

even if the mind says

not right now….later on

I remember, I am training myself now

To create a victorious cycle

out of the vicious cycle

I used before

The cycle that creates pain and inflicts pain

and leads me off the path of my mission

to improve my workability

to improve my technique 

of being a person

and peace by peace

Saving the world

Yeah,

There is holy anger

and I need it sometimes

to know what is truly unjust and evil in the world

but I watch myself closely

so I don’t poison myself and ruin my capacity to experience

wonder

and cultivate compassion

over and over again

There are difficult people in the world. 

sure.

But I can see

the most difficult person in the world

usually 

is me. 

If I don’t develop a skill for regulating this shadow side

at some point

I end up alone 

with this person I’ve been hiding from

and realize 

That person

is really no one I want to hang out with for the evening

or the rest of my life. 

I am learning to put the anger down

wait for a moment

develop a process

begin to love the process

Be a kamikaze for the process

Diving headlong into it

and exposing the ways in which my anger is automatic

Problematic

and exploding it on the rocks of my consciousness

letting it burn hot under my scrutiny

to deliver me to a place of peace and control.

More and more and more

than before.

We may choose

The smiling eyes and peaceful posture of the Buddha gave me a gift and that gift is blossoming and growing within me now. I have always wanted mastery over fear anger and judgment and I have the Thai people and their beautiful version of Buddhism to thank for a step closer in that direction.

I except that my character is permeable

I understand that my brain is a bio computer

that can be reprogrammed

reformulated

rebooted with new information

as it becomes available to me

Avatarism Presents: Listening Is A Superpower

Dear self,

Here’s some things to remember about listening.

A master practitioner of any craft can seem like a wizard. 

A master creates wonder and awe in the layman with his skill, confidence, flawless execution, and imperceivable effort. 

In my years as frontman for the Flowtemple art parties,  I became very aware of how much listening can be applied in action. The scene was electric, with painters, fire dancers, musicians, clowns and photographers all interacting and participating. In those wonderfully awesome moments where the musicians, music, dancers, and artists were in total communication, the whole room lit up. Newcomers could not believe that everything in the 5 hour set was completely improvised, “It all seemed so perfect and rehearsed.” In that state I was totally involved in the listening and as I became more aware of everyone. I just knew what to sing, words and melodies came. I ended up surprising myself almost every time we played a Flowtemple Party with how much great art we made in that small amount of time.

Listening

allows for 

and welcomes into being

great communication of endless varieties 

Works of immense beauty can be created

seemingly 

effortlessly

And….. It feels powerfully delicious 

You’d think by now 

my listening 

would be a piece of  cake. 

But no

I still have to remind myself 

redundantly

receptively

and in multiples 

of many

Because listening is one of those sometimes forgotten 

superpowers 

When I powerfully listen

I can;

Uphold other people 

Understand complexities

Remember the facts

Marvel in the glory of another’s path

Hear the hidden story

Pick up on wordless, emotional communications

Become aware of subtleties 

Be a less judgmental asshole

Learn self control

Deliver assistance, guidance, and leadership.

Know what the f*&k to say,

and when to say it, yo!

Be funnier and more compassionate

Appear to have psychic powers

Make great music

Dance like a boss!

Sing like a shamanic rock god

Really understand my friends

Be a responsive lover,

parent,, 

pet owner, 

gardener

I know you want it

We all want it 

So give it already

Listen

Avatarism presents: “Bullies and Tyrants”

If they are mean and hurtful?

Do not give them your heart.

If they hurl insults?

Do not believe their lies.

If madness persists.

Observe the behavior, learn their game, and If they chase you?

Get the hell outta the way.

What is the Tao of the bully and the tyrant?

They exist to show us our weak spots. 

Where we need to grow and develop deep awareness.

To condition root strength, mental agility,  and temper our self confidence.

but not to much now.

To much contact with these people can lead to health problems and trauma issues.

So to defend thy kingdom;

Beware violent domination tactics of any kind. It is brainwashing. Only YOU are allowed to brainwash YOU!  Beware unhealed abuse survivors, they have hidden issues and occluded reasonings. Beware the braggart and the fear monger, for they mean to capture your attention and then enslave you, while draining your life force or chi. 

Beware your sanity around such people.

Language and behavior can and do act like a virus, and we are susceptible to programming by intense situations and individuals. If you feel a sneaky suspicion that you are being manipulated by the intensity of a person, then chances are, it’s actually happening.

breathe.

Create beauty anyway. 

And love your precious self enough to get out of a relationship that perpetuates neurosis, fear, or postpones your ultimate joy any longer. 

We are consciously creating our own character. That means we have a right to control what gets downloaded and how.

We are building our own dream on the real world platform because we can. 

We are honing our own flow. 

You and I are two parts of a whole galaxy of possibilities.

Keep close your magic.

Keep aflame your ways of wonder.

Create moments of joy for your loved ones. 

Uphold each other and Uplevel often

This is the dawning of the GOLDEN AGE OF HUMANITY!

There is access to information, access to tools, and, believe me, there is access to wealth of every kind imaginable.

When you get passed up.
Or overlooked.
When you can’t drive another inch without crying.
When the intense-city is eating away at your humanity.
When the slightest little look from a stranger makes you want to rip them apart.
Do something.
before it eats you, dude.
Burn something.
Go into the forrest and do not come out till she speaks.
Sing till you cry fat tears of joy.
Burn something.
walk into your magical talking crystal castle and scream to your ancestors, and the ones who will come after.

Delusion is when you think you can fly, and hurl yourself off a cliff to your death.

Avatars choose to embody a skill and hone it to mastery, then hang glide off the cliff.

Delusion is where you see and hear things and those things scare the crap out of you.

Avatars mock up character of their own making and speak and act consciously as those beings.

Delusional lives in a fantasy world beyond their control.

Avatarism presents, Living gods, superheroes, and dramatic ritual for up-leveling.

There is a way to up-level your character in the real world platform. You can change your self image from mundane, to living godhood if you wish. You don’t even have to leave your living room. The way to impress your nervous system and change your brain for good is so simple, a kid can do it. In fact, I did it as a kid, and it helped me become a superhero for millions of kids when I voiced characters on Teen Titans, Legion of Superheroes, Batman, Transformers, Ben Ten, Starship Troopers, and more. I am living proof that Avatarism works. 

Before I discovered my power to up-level my character and began to implement my ideas about programming myself, I was a mess. Diagnosed as OCD, borderline turrets’s syndrome, chronically depressed, had repetitive ticks of the hand and face, horrible reoccurring dreams, suicidal thoughts, and taking anti depressants.

Out of desperation and deep curiosity, I began researching meditation, mantra, world religions, brainwashing, hypnosis, bio feedback, meta-programming, brain changing drugs, dramatic ritual, the Occult, brain science, and NLP. I found that all the most effective techniques were using dramatic rituals or games to imprint the person with a new set of beliefs about himself. I was astonished that more people weren’t using these techniques to meta-program themselves, but it wasn’t till my training as an actor intersected with all this knowledge, that I truly found my recipe for up-leveling.

I was a child actor since the age of 4. I starred in films and TV shows, most note-ably  the comedy “Charles in Charge,” (circa 1989) My father taught me the basics of the craft and introduced me to sense memory, building characters, and his training gave me the ability to create “reality,” on stage. I felt different after each part I mastered. I gained the skills and confidence of each character as if I was that character. This was my first lesson in the life changing power of drama. 

Drama is older than language,

we are creatures of drama,

and our world is shaped by it continuously. 

I have coached people by using my own brand of Avataristic dramatic ritual for the last 11 years. I have seen Avatarism work. We can treat people as living gods and see them altered in amazing ways. These formally mundane people gain insight into their old and degenerate programming and rewire themselves. Not only do they gain powers, but they use their power for good, to help others up-level. We can uphold each other to the highest version of ourselves that we can imagine. We can allow our fellow humans to be the superheroes they want to be. Stand back, and enjoy the show.

Meditate on your power character, see yourself as your avatar, mock up a spirit army, and lead them into battle against a formidable foe. Close your eyes and become the warrior god, the priest, shaman, or leader of mankind, and when you open your eyes, you will have had the experience in another dimension, that of mind, but in terms of meta-programming yourself, there is no difference. Your confidence and magnetism is increased, you may cry with joy, or stand more firm in your place.

We can recreate ourselves as we wish. We can become ethical when we have been evil. We can control our inner voice of fear with a stronger outer voice of determination. I am filled with excitement and hope that Avatarism may be the game that saves lives, creates living gods, and raises our confidence to the level of superheroes. We have no need for violence! We can change the world through conscious character building, skill collecting, up-leveling on the real world platform, and dramatic ritual.

We have so much to do, time is ticking away, the seconds become minutes and hours. There is little we can do to change others, but we can change ourselves, that is a noble game, a great game! Collect skills instead of tricks. Forego manipulation of others in favor of a developed, personal magnetism, based on excellence and mastery.

Avatarism is a game of up leveling character through embodiment of skills, archetypes, lifestyles, costumes, aphorisms, and idiosyncrasies.
